Save Ferris doesn’t just play ska — they throw a full-blown, joy-fuelled party that turns every room into a dance floor. Since exploding out of Orange County in the mid-’90s, the band has been synonymous with high-energy skanking, brass-blasted hooks, and the kind of communal chaos that defined third-wave ska at its peak.
Powered by the unstoppable presence of Monique Powell, Save Ferris earned their reputation the old-school way — sweaty shows, house parties, and word of mouth — before KROQ DJs put their cover of “Come On Eileen” into heavy rotation and ignited a national breakout. Critics and fans alike praised their live shows as pure release: infectious, fast, and impossible to stand still through.
After a triumphant return in 2015 following Powell’s recovery from a life-altering surgery, Save Ferris proved the magic hadn’t faded. Sold-out hometown shows, festival main stages, and the EP Checkered Past reaffirmed what longtime fans already knew — this band thrives onstage. Reviewers regularly note that the energy feels less like nostalgia and more like stepping back into the best house party of your youth, only tighter, louder, and sharper.
With new music in the works and a live show that still sparks mosh pits, sing-alongs, and smiling strangers skanking together, Save Ferris isn’t reliving the past — they’re reminding everyone why it was so much fun to begin with.

Adrian and Meredith, the duo behind The Adrian and Meredith Band, have traveled from Midwest roots to East Nashville’s music scene and onto international stages. Along the way, they’ve built kinships with members of Th’ Legendary Shackshakers, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Calexico, and Gogol Bordello. Their music has carried them across Europe, performing for Ukrainian refugees and audiences throughout the continent, and onto iconic stages including the Grand Ole Opry with The War & Treaty, Folk Alliance International, and Levitt Pavilions nationwide. Backed by a fiery band and driven by songs like “Klezmer American,” “Stop the Spiral,” and “NFT,” their shows are joyous, urgent, and impossible not to dance to. No Depression calls it “Roots Rock Perfection.”
