Today’s Performer: Treee City
Deeply rooted in North Carolina’s electronic music scene, Durham-based DJ and producer Treee City is a founding member of Durham’s Party Illegal crew, has released on labels Raund Haus and Maison Fauna; performed at festivals like Moogfest, Hopscotch, and Slingshot; and shared stages with Sylvan Esso, Steve Aoki, Washed Out, and Daedelus. His debut full-length album Good Job, released last November on Raund Haus Records, is “something special…filled with dance-floor heaters.” (Indy Week) He currently organizes Blends With Friends (a biweekly DJ open decks and music meetup at The Pinhook) and Below Decks (a monthly club night at The Fruit in collaboration with The Floor).
