As April winds down, we’re getting closer to Memorial Day Weekend and the start of our 2026 season. We’ll begin picking up the pace on Saturday, May 2nd, with the departure of our 1:30 pm Fraser Train. Join us for a one-hour-and-45-minute diesel-powered journey through the beautiful Des Moines River Valley and across two spectacular bridges—the gem of the trip being our crossing of the 156-foot-high Bass Point Creek High Bridge.Reservations also remain for that evening’s 5:30 pm Wolf Dinner Train. Your journey begins with a charcuterie board and a chef’s salad, followed by your choice of:
• Seared Pork Chop with brown butter
• Chicken with white wine sauce
• Baked Cod with a lemon herb crumb
• Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna (Vegetarian)
All entrées are served with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal roasted vegetables. You’ll finish your meal with a slice of scrumptious red velvet cake.
