LeTabby has two workshops to choose from. Sign up for one or BOTH!
2pm-3pm Improv for Burlesque/Sexy Dance
LeTabby will take you through some fun improv exercises to get you going the flow and relishing in unscripted/unplanned moments in your acts. Turn oh nos, into oh yeses. This workshop is great for several dance styles. This class involves some information and fun exercises.
3pm-4pm Storyboard Your Solo
Add characterization and storytelling to your performances. This class is part lecture/part exercises. LeTabby, as a trained actor and award winning playwright will guide you through how to add depth to your moves. Create memorable moments and solos to connect with the audience.
Both workshops are open to all genders, body types and skill levels. Having taken some dance classes is recommended, but you do not have to be a performer to sign up. And although LeTabby comes at performance from a Burlesque perspective- these are not Burlesque specific classes- open to all dance styles.
It is recommended participants bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing you can move in and if you are planning to wear shoes for the workshops- please wear non-marking dance shoes.
