The Baja Desert Dogs are back in town and back in the Beer Garden.Barry Cloyd is a Midwestern based, award winning full-time touring singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who performs more than 125 shows of all types per year. In addition to a concert schedule, he has been the resident stringed instrumentalist/vocalist on The Spirit of Peoria Paddlewheel Riverboat for 19 years, traveling the inland waterways. Barry also has created and toured dozens of edutainment programs which focus on our own history with music. He has shared the stage & recorded with many stars of the Blues and Americana worlds including members of Buddy Guy's Band, The Byrds, Stephen Still's, EmmyLou Harris', The Oak Ridge Boys, John Denver's and Dan Fogelberg's Bands. Barry is also a recording artist with 10 CD's, the last of which, the all original “Southland”, won an award for best Americana album in 2016 which resulted in his tracks “Spirit Dance” and “Know This River” being placed on radio stations in more than 45 countries worldwide.
David Raitt and his bands over the years comprise of fine singer songwriters and performers David in most cases is the band leader lead ,singer guitarist, and songwriter. He also plays Bass, Piano, Flute and Congas, Bongos and harmonica.
David records and mixes and engineers and manufactures his own CD’s and videos in collaboration with a team of engineers and video film makers and photograhers and engineers. He has his music in Movies as well as soundtracks for “the wedding song” in Heartwood with Hillary Swank and Jason Robart as well as several commercial slideshows.
Music kicks off at 6pm in the Beer Garden under the Baja dusk.
