About the Show
The magic of books can transport us to new worlds; illustrations and entire adventures can lift right off the page. When an imaginative young child dives into a book, the stories come to life around them. Through dance, music, puppetry, and vibrant imagery, this world premiere production will use innovative design to draw the audience in. Watch a new world come to life right before your eyes!

Reserve your tickets for the 9:30 AM performance here. Tickets are FREE but donations are welcome. Please note that you must register for a free ticket before adding an optional donation!
Time and Place
The performance will take place in the Helen Hayes Gallery of The National Theatre located at 1321 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004. Children will be encouraged to sit on rainbow mats on the floor and parents to sit in chairs behind.
Audience
This performance is ideal for children ages 3-6 but all are welcome!
Accessibility
This performance will be ASL-interpreted. The space is wheelchair accessible.
About the Artists
Arts On the Horizon was founded as a professional, non-profit theatre company with a specific focus of providing performances and education programs for an audience of young people ages 0 to 6 years old and their families. Arts On the Horizon values intelligent, innovative, and original work for very young audiences that is accessible, affordable, inspiring, and joyful. Knowing that a young child's brain develops as they explore the world around them through sight, touch, and sound, Arts on the Horizon intentionally creates a sensory-rich environment with each production utilizing vibrant imagery, music, sound effects, movement, and tactile moments where children are able to interact with the different objects used in the performance.
