Inspired by the writings of Rachel Held Evans, this 4-week Bible study will allow us to explore a different theme each week. We begin Feb. 21st in the Conference Room with an Ash Wednesday-inspired look at “On life to death and death to life— like seeds, like soil, like stars.”Braving the Truth is a new anthology of Rachel's writings interspersed with excerpts from her contemporaries, edited by Sarah Bessey. We look forward to discussing the themes explored in this book during this Lenten season. It is not necessary to have the book to take part in the Bible study, but it would be a welcome supplement if you would like to order a copy.
