And headline act Josh Thomson
Josh is a household name and a legend on the New Zealand comedy scene. He has been a mainstay on local comedy shows like 7Days, Have You Been Paying Attention, was the regular comedian on The Project and was the champion of Season 3 of TaskMaster NZ – which he now directs. He also directed and starred in a web series about his own father Subject:Dad.
As an actor he’s appeared internationally in Prime’s The Office Australia, Netflix’s The New Legends Of Monkey, NBC’s Young Rock and local hits Good Grief, Creamerie, Wellington Paranormal, Educators, Time Bandits and the Emmy winning INSiDE. His feature film work includes the How to Please a Woman (Australia), Don’t Make Me Go (US), and local favourites Gary of the Pacific, Pork Pie, & Guns Akimbo.
Josh continues to work as a live performer, whether gigging on tour with 7DaysLive, appearing on the Comedy Gala, hosting the Great Comedy Debate or as an MC for corporate events. He’s hosted the NZ Film Awards, the 48Hour Film awards, various Vodafone events and several spots for the NZ Music awards.
