Saturday Creative Collective AUGUST - A Morning with Matisse

This month's session topic = A morning working with HENRI MATISSE

Learn about the revolutionary French artist and then experiment with bold, non-naturalistic colours and dramatic shapes in his style - paint, draw or collage. Matisse was the leader of the Fauvism movement, seeking to express emotion rather than reality.

No experience necessary - engage mindfully with pre-created templates or create your own artwork from scratch using the wide range of materials available.

The Saturday Art Creative Collective holds small group facilitated workshops for enjoying art expression, self development and discovery approximately once a month in Richmond, VIC.

We explore the inner world and daily life in this safe, collaborative space, as well as spending time mindfully creating purely for happiness.

A new guided activity is offered by Christine of CGE Wellness each session, utilising art therapy processes and a range of art & craft techniques.

Christine is an experienced and qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist, Counsellor & Psychosocial Support Wellness Facilitator with a passion for creative ways of working with the mind, body and soul.

STILL ONLY $35 plus booking fee for this 2 hour workshop. All facilitation, art & craft materials and morning tea is included. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.
