Marcus Monroe is a New York City based comedian. His show is a high energy blend of in your face comedic banter riddled with awkwardness. He is the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award and has recently appeared on The Late Show, Late Night with Seth Myers, and ITV (London). Chances are you’ve seen him in one of his many viral videos performing stand up on the NYC subway as different characters.
Marcus’s Stand up on the Subway series has over 100 million views and includes cameos from Bowling for Soup, Train, Bobby Moynihan, BBMak, Ryan Cabera and more. The New York Times has selected Marcus’s show as a NYT critics’ pick 4 time and calls Marcus, “one of the most entertaining performers to watch in New York City.” Marcus performs often in New York and tours regularly. His one man show, “The Rise and Fall of Marcus Monroe” debuted to rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival earning the Evening Standard’s ‘Pick of the Fringe.’ Currently, Marcus is the co-host of the Boy Friends Podcast along with comedians Corey B and Matt Lopes and he is on tour playing comedy clubs and theaters. @marcusjmonroe
THINGS TO KNOW:
— Two Item Minimum purchase requirement for all guests in showroom.
— General admission seating may be theater-style rows if the show reaches full capacity.
— VIP ticket holders must arrive before show begins to claim reserved seating.
— All shows are 18 and over. 21+ to drink.
— No dress code.
— Shows run about an hour and 15 minutes.
— Doors open 30-60 minutes prior to show-time. Arriving at least 15 minutes before the show is always a good idea!
— Seating is first come first serve with a strict no-call, no-show policy. Please call us if you are running late! VIP seats will only be reserved until start of show.
