Satellite Dog is a Psych-Groove band from North Carolina. Taking sonic inspiration from the psychedelic rock n’ roll whirlwind of the 1960’s and 1970’s, they combine musical ideas from a plethora of inspirations to form a uniquely retro-modern psych-groove soundscape. Relying heavily on improvisation during live shows, they twist and turn in and out of original tunes as well as originally-spun covers by bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish. With roots in central North Carolina, the group has maintained a foothold all over the state, with frequent stops in Boone, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh.

Casual Cadenza is a four-piece rock band hailing from Atlanta, GA. “In music, a cadenza refers to an improvised ornamental passage played by a soloist or soloists, usually in a free rhythmic style, and often allowing for a virtuosic display.” Casual Cadenza puts a modern and unique twist on this concept. Feel good music is what this band is all about, hence their “casual” approach. Their style has been described as "beach funk" that blends catchy hooks, extended jams, and genre crossing spontaneity with live shows that highlight high energy peaks and creative improvisation. Never the same show twice!
