Ali holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Education from the University of Edinburgh. She is the founder of Edinburgh Guitar Night, a concert series that has hosted world-class guitarists from over 10 countries, and continues to grow as a premier platform for guitar-focused live performance.
Ali has performed at the Belfast Guitar Festival, London Guitar Night, Manchester Guitar Night, Edinburgh Guitar and Music Festival, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, and Aberdeen Jazz Festival.
