About this Event
. Framed today through sustainability and slow craft movements, sashiko offers a tactile way to resist disposability by valuing maintenance, longevity, and thoughtful reuse.
Each participant will learn one of the traditional Sashiko patterns and stitch together. After that, we will learn how to make one of the Sashiko patterns; it could be a coaster or pin cushion, this allows participants to learn how to do Sashiko mending on their garment
