Start the new year off with a new skill! Our sashiko embroidery workshop will take place in skout and will be led by textile professional and repair artist Maisie Jane. Expect a relaxing evening with drinks and nibbles as Maisie guides you through the techniques used in this traditional Japanese method of decorative mending.
All levels are welcome — we regularly host complete beginners as well as those looking to add another string to their mending bow. All materials are included in the ticket price.
Feel free to bring along an item in need of repair, or simply practice on the materials provided.
