About this Event
Sarah Peacock is an award-winning songwriter, artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Nashville, TN. An electrifying force on the Americana scene, Peacock has captivated audiences and garnered fans around the world with her soul-stirring melodies and raw, honest lyrics. While her style is not easily defined, her storytelling prowess is irrefutably potent and unnerving. With vocals reminiscent of Heart’s Ann Wilson that range from tender vulnerability to powerhouse intensity, Peacock weaves together a story of advocacy work for marginalized communities, overcoming struggle, and redemption.
Throughout her career as a full time troubadour, Peacock has released 8 albums and won multiple awards for her songwriting (including best song in the American Songwriting Awards for “Hurricane”). Her latest critically acclaimed album, Burn the Witch, was crowd-funded by her rabid fan base and received accolades from the press. American Songwriter Magazine calls Sarah “Cracking, soul-burning, remarkable,” while Music Row Magazine calls her, “A folk-pop diva with plenty to say.” Pop Matters says, “At the core of her sound is cunning songwriting and the voice to deliver it.”
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Peacock came to Nashville in 2001 to attend Belmont University, graduating with a bachelors of music degree. In 2020, Peacock’s hard-earned success facilitated the acquisition of a charming log cabin nestled upon several acres in the vicinity of Nashville, where she has since established her very own home recording studio.
Beyond her musical endeavors, Sarah is also a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ communities, women’s rights, and anti-bullying awareness. Using her platform to de- stigmatize and facilitate bridge-building conversations surrounding these issues, Peacock is committed to promote healing through the power of music. With each new album, live performance, and even through social media, Sarah Peacock continues to connect deeply with her audience, leaving an indelible mark on all who have the privilege of experiencing her magic.
