ABOUT SARAH
Born in Magnitogorsk, Russia and raised in Fort Myers, Florida, violist Sarah Conley began her musical studies at the age of six. After early training with Gregg Anderson of the Naples Philharmonic and Reiko Niiya of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, she is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree here at Lynn, in the studio of Sheila Browne. Sarah has performed with the Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia, the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and the Naples Philharmonic, and has appeared in master classes with renowned artists including Kim Kashkashian, Heinrich Koll, Kimberly Fisher, and Alex Wolaver.
A prizewinner of the Lynn Concerto Competition and the 2025 Jillian Prescott Music Awards (first prize), Sarah is also a composer, having premiered her original work Danse Requiem at the Lynn New Music Festival. Outside of music, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
