P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome back Sara Hamdan to celebrate the publication of her debut novel, — a hilarious, heartfelt coming-of-age story centered around one woman's secret comedy career, forbidden office crush, and long-guarded family secret

  • This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
  • Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.
  • Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
  • The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!
  • We encourage all guests to wear masks.


ABOUT THE AUTHOR
, a Berkeley and Columbia graduate, is a former Merrill Lynch banker, New York Times journalist, and editor at Google. After winning a Netflix short story award, she received the First Chapter: Emirates Literature Foundation Seddiqi First Chapter Writers’ Fellowship for her debut novel, Sara is Palestinian American, raised in Greece, and has called Dubai home for twenty years. When she’s not typing away at her laptop, she loves to spend time at the beach with her husband and two kids.
