About this Event
Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of social deception games, this event offers an opportunity for all those under the Sapphic Umbrella to gather as a community and share a game night. Come solo or with friends and immerse yourself in a game of Blood on the Clocktower (BOTC). Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to make new friends.

What is Blood on the Clocktower? Blood on the Clocktower is an advanced version of the game Werewolf, and crucially the dead still have an important role to play in the game. The game is run by a Storyteller who has carefully crafted an experience and facilitates the game for up to 20 players. It is part deduction and part deception. Set in the little village of Ravenswood Bluff, players in the game assume different roles, each with unique abilities to hunt down the evil or stay hidden as one.
For new players, check out this video created by our head storyteller Jeremy, to learn the basics of the game ahead of the event. There will also be time at the top of the game to review rules and ask questions.
Still have questions? Join or Community Discord where you can ask questions with your storyteller, connect with fellow townsfolk, and stay in touch between events.
General Admission Tickets: Thanks to the generosity of Twilight Cafe we will have their second floor reserved to play two different groups through the game; one beginner, and one intermediate. Tickets for this event include a tutorial of Blood on the Clocktower if new players are in attendance, and a full playthrough of the game. In addition, after BOTC, join in for an optional tabletop social! Twilight Cafe has a variety of light board games in their Midtown Collection to choose from that are perfect to stay, play, and connect while discussing the results of the mystery.
Changeling Membership Admission: Our Changeling Membership includes event discounts for our paid subscribers. After just two events in a month our members save, with a potential for over $80+ in savings monthly! Each Membership ticket must have a single individual corresponding Patreon membership subscription. Proof of subscription will be required at the door.
Attire: For a game like Blood on the Clocktower, which thrives on atmosphere and a mysterious setting, we encourage attire, but do not require. But! If you choose to dress for the occasion, we recommend garments with dark, moody colours like black, deep purple, or blood red.
: There is no minimum for this event, but supporting our hosts is encouraged. Twilight Cafe has an impressively extensive drinks list available (with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options), plus an excellent dinner menu for snacks and meals to pair with the game.
