Sunday November 24th Tamworth will be the place to be!The Tamworth Legion are hosting their annual Santa Claus Parade, followed by visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and cookie decorating at the Tamworth Legion.
Also at the Legion, Santa's elves, and the Tamworth & District Lions Club are hosting "Santa's Store". Children can shop with the assistance of elves, to purchase a gift for mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, etc. Elves will put on gift tags and wrap the gifts also! Children should bring their shopping list, a shopping bag to bring gifts home in and a minimum donation of $4.00 per gift. (to allow children the opportunity to shop with elves, parents are asked to remain outside the store.)
The Tamworth Lions will also be selling "Take Home Christmas Cookie Decorating Kits", and beautiful handcrafted wooden snowmen and Christmas Trees.
All funds raised at this event go to support our initiatives throughout Stone Mills and area.
