For the very first time we’re opening Santa’s Secret Grotto (from 13th to 24th of December) and I can honestly say we’ve never had anything quite like it here before!
It’s being designed by Sonja Klaus a truly incredible Production Designer who’s worked on Gladiator Harry Potter Taboo with Tom Hardy X-Men A Christmas Carol and so many more.
She’s currently transforming our building into a real-life Christmas wonderland the kind that makes you forget you’re in rainy England and feel as though you’ve stepped straight into Santa’s home in Lapland!
There’ll be elves reindeer a treasure hunt photo spots hot chocolate for the little ones and a special gift from Santa himself. ?
Sonja told us just this week that the first pieces of furniture have arrived and each item has its own story:
one chair from Gladiator (by Ridley Scott)
a table from Harry Potter
a cabinet from Taboo (with Tom Hardy)!
It’s like walking into a film set only this one’s made of pure Christmas magic.

And between us I’ve heard that a few familiar faces from Pinewood Studio have already booked their tickets for Santa’s visit… so who knows who you might bump into! ✨
