Hoylake RNLI volunteers will be decking the boathouse halls and welcoming a very special visitor from the North Pole on Saturday 6 December for a magical festive event.
From 11am to 2pm, Father Christmas will be stopping in at Hoylake RNLI lifeboat station and inviting children and families to join him for a memorable experience alongside the charity’s volunteer lifesavers.
Young visitors will have the chance to meet Father Christmas and take a special photograph with him. They will also receive an exclusive RNLI goodie bag as a gift to take home.
Children are also encouraged to bring a letter for Father Christmas to post back to the North Pole – providing an email address so he can reply personally to each one.
Taking place in the lifeboat station, visitors will also have a chance to see Hoylake RNLI’s all-weather Shannon class lifeboat ‘Edmund Hawthorn Micklewood’ and Inshore Rescue Hovercraft ‘Hurley Spirit’.
Entry to the event will be free, and donations are warmly welcomed to support the lifesaving work of Hoylake RNLI this winter.
