Grab your friends and family and festive holiday costume and join us for the annual Santa Summit on Black Mountain! This is a great community event and this year we want to get 100 participants. We will meet at the crossroads of Military and Schoolhouse roads with a prompt start at 9am. All levels of fitness are welcome. Bring water and comfortable hiking shoes. The trail is moderately steep and rocky in parts and 1.1 miles. No need to get all the way to the top (even though Firebird/Corvette Santa may have a holiday treat waiting for you at the summit!). Recover afterwards at Local Jonny's where they promise to have some holiday cheer specials for us. Drop off a food donation at Jonny's for the Foothills Food Bank so we can help our less fortunate neighbors enjoy a meal or two! Arrive early- parking is available at various locations in town with a short walk to the meeting site.
