Ho, ho, ho! The Santa Run 5k is coming to town! Join us on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 AM for this annual Christmas classic.Whether you are jolly jogging, Santa sprinting, winter wonderland walking or reindeer rolling, this family-friendly event is open to all ages and abilities.
Enjoy delicious hot chocolate at the finish line. Then, head over to SingleSpeed Brewing Co. for a post-race brew, lunch, and live music-- Andrew Hoyt's Christmas Spectacular!
All registrants receive a full Santa suit (complete with a beard!) to wear during the race and keep, as well as a $10 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Des Moines as our gift to you!
And most importantly-- $10 of your registration goes to one of five local nonprofits you choose!
In 2025, we will be supporting Girls on the Run of Central Iowa, Team Run Free, Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa, Living History Farms, and Children and Families of Iowa.
The race will start at 10:00 AM, one block South of Fleet Feet Des Moines. Packet pick up will take place Thursday and Friday from 3:00-6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Des Moines, with a limited packet pick up available from 8:30-9:30 before the race at Pace317 gym (317 E 6th St STE 101, Des Moines, IA 50309).
