Come knit with us! Or any craft you can do in the park. There will be limited knitting supplies available on a first-come-first-serve basis and instruction/guidance for anyone interested in learning to knit, or bring your own craft materials and join with us as we work to build a better future by putting community before billionaires.This event is designed to be a low-key alternative to big rallies where you can meet neighbors and build community through crafting, because nothing threatens oligarchs more than strong community.
On May Day, we make our voices heard by opting out of the systems that keeps billionaires in power. No work. No school. No shopping.
Because when the billionaires break every rule, it’s going to take more than a rally to stop them.
Together, we demand a future that supports every person who calls this country home, not just the rich and powerful We demand that the rich pay their fair share of taxes We demand that our tax dollars be used for the good of the people, not to fund wars of aggression and private jets And that our voices be heard through free and fair elections
