About the Blue Santa Program: Close to 20 years ago, seeing the need and serving 15 families - a group of Galveston police officers, volunteers and community members provided Christmas for Galveston's underserved children. Today we serve over 2,000 children per year and anticipate an even greater need this year. Our mission is to bring smiles to the faces of children from infant to 14 years of age by showing them the true spirit of Christmas - not just toys, but the love and generosity of their community. A hand up for families in a time of need.
