Hello to all of my fellow hobbits, elves, dwarves, and men! This year's Santa Claus Crab Classic tournament will be 750 points and three, 2.25 hour rounds. Doors will open at 9 AM. We will have a few announcements at 9:45 AM and then we will have dice rolling at 10 AM.
Trophies will go to 1st-3rd place, best painted good/evil army, to the player who completes the most secret objectives across their three games, and The Crabhammer award to the player who's champion kills the most models across their games. Store credit will be given to all trophy winners and to the top 1/4 of players who finish at the end of the tournament.
We will be following the rules in the matched play guide for round time. After 2.25 hours, time will be called and all players will finish their current turn, then determine their scores. We will be using the major/minor victory rules in the matched play guide to determine the score of the players.
2X VPs over opponent with at least 6 VPs scored will be 6 TPs
Less than 2X VPs over opponent will be a minor vicotry with 5 TPs
Tie: 2 TPs
Minor loss: 1 TP
Major loss: 0 TPs
Entry will be $20 and we'll have pizza, salad, and cookies available during our lunch break.
All models will be allowed for the tournament and this will be an 80-point MARC event if we have at least 16 players at the tournament.
We will have a raffle at the end of the tournament to raffle off MESBG models. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.
Sign-up for the tournament will be via BCP and will be posted soon.
