Join us for an afternoon of dances written between 1650 and 2025. We are starting to study the dances for our Winter Dreams Ball, and will be dancing some of those dances (as well as some non-ball dances).!!! We are finally back to our usual location !!!
At the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Barbara (intersection of State+Constance)
Lindsay Verbil will be our caller, and Green Willow (Frank Hoppe on fiddle, Laura Osborne on flute, and Jeffrey Spero on keyboard) will provide live music.
Entrance fee is $12 (dancers 18 and under free).
If you are new to English Country Dancing please come a little early (1:45) and we will give you a brief introduction to the terminology and figures of our dance.
There will be a Contra Dance following us, at 6 in the Carrillo Ballroom.
