This class centers the original Dominican style of bachata—its musicality, footwork, timing, and soulful expression—honoring the dance as it was first danced in the barrios and social spaces of the Dominican Republic.No partner required. Respect for the music and the culture strongly encouraged.
Armando guides dancers through foundational movements, partner connection, and rhythmic interpretation, emphasizing authenticity, simplicity, and feeling over flash.
