Join us this Saturday evening for a contra in San Rafael with Persons in Black (David Wright, fiddle & mandolin; Sue Jones, concertina; Clark Smith, guitar). It's Valentine's Day -- bring your sweetheart, or just share your love of dance with our contra community.Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin is at 240 Channing Way in San Rafael, about 10 minutes north of the foot of the Richmond-San Rafael bridge just off Hwy 101. At the top of a steep hill; plenty of parking.
Note that we've increased admission for 2026: $15 NBCDS/BACDS/CDSS members; $20 not-yet-members; $10 or pay as you can/limited income. First time dancers get in free -- arrive at 6:30 pm for a newcomers' orientation.
Masks are optional at our contra dance series. If you are not feeling well on the day of the dance, please take care of yourself & the community -- stay home and join us another time.
* NBCDS dances are fragrance-free events. Please refrain from wearing scented products.
* You are invited to bring snacks to share at the break.
* Bring a water bottle & stay hydrated!
