The race waves will start at 4:30pm and will be followed by awards and an after-party with music, food and refreshments. Everyone is welcome to join the fun.
We have several divisions to choose from including a kids 1/2 mile fun run. All ages and abilities welcome.
Kids 13 & under receive discounted pricing of $20 for either event. Age-discount applied automatically at check out.
Club Challenge - NEW for 2024!
To celebrate all the fantastic running groups in Jacksonville and beyond, we are offering a club registration option for the mile race. Clubs should register by emailing [email protected] and will be given a club discount code. Each participant using the code will receive $5 off registration, and your club will earn $5 per registrant as a donation back to your club!
Awards:
SAN MARCO MILE CLUB CHAMPIONS: The combined times from the top 10 fastest runners in each club will be tallied. The club with the lowest total time wins!
TEAM SPIRIT: Awarded to the club with highest number of participants
Winning clubs will have their team name etched permanently onto the San Marco Mile trophies, which will be displayed at Posting House—plus, you’ll earn ultimate bragging rights until next year’s race!
To be eligible for the club awards and the affiliate bonus, clubs must have a minimum of 10 registrants. *at least one team member must be a female. Affiliate bonus payments will be made via check after the event.
Schedule
3:00pm: race packet pickup & day of race registration
4:30pm: KIDS 1/2 MILE
5:00pm: OPEN DIVISION (8 minute mile and above)
5:15pm: ADVANCED (6 minute - 8 minute milers)
5:30pm: ELITE (6 minute mile and under)
5:45pm: AWARDS
6:00pm: AFTER-PARTY with DJ
Swag, Awards and Amenities
Race T-Shirts:
In an effort to reduce waste, we have opted for on-demand t-shirt printing this year courtesy of Reagle Beagle Printing! Bring a shirt or sweatshirt with you on race day and have it printed with the San Marco Mile logo for just $5! We will also have a selection of plain shirts available to purchase at the race for printing.
Kids 1/2 Mile:
A trophy will be given to the 1st place u13 male and female finishers.
All participants receive a medal and a drink token.
Mile Race:
Top 3 male and female overall and to the 1st place masters and grand masters male and female will receive a San Marco Mile hooded towel.
All participants receive a branded stainless steel tumbler or glass and a drink token.
Amenities:
Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available after the race. One drink is included with your registration.
Carlitos Latin Kitchen will be on site with a special menu available for purchase.
