About this Event
There are over 50 million people trapped in modern day slavery today, and every 1 in 4 of those people are children. Instead of playing, growing and learning they are enslaved to work tirelessly in inhumane conditions. International Justice Mission has worked for over 28 years to rescue and protect people from violence. IJM and their partners collaborate with local authorities to strengthen justice systems, building communities where all people can expect to be safe and protected. Create a page on our team fundraising site (https://ijm.donordrive.com/team/5708) and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. If you raise $500, you can get a free IJM T-shirt! Otherwise, wear royal blue along with comfortable clothing and shoes.
Meet at the corner of Flickinger Ave. and Ulster Dr. We’ll do 8 laps on a paved path around the ball fields. Snacks and water provided.
The IJM Bay Area Volunteer Team and headquarters would like to email you in the future about local IJM news and events. If you’d like to opt out of communications from either or both, just email us at [email protected]
