Join us for a landmark celebration honoring transgender and gender-diverse immigrants and asylees from across California and the Global South on Nov 18th,.
The day begins at San Francisco City Hall with the 4th Annual Transgender Immigrants Day Proclamation, recognizing the resilience and leadership of Global South Transgender Immigrants and Asylees.
Following the proclamation and remarks from legendary Transgender Immigrant leaders, we gather at newly opened Parivar Immigrant Cultural Center for a community luncheon followed by the 3rd Quarterly “Our Haven” Transgender Immigrant Symposium, uplifting stories of courage, resource and direct service intakes.
Together, we’ll share food, connection, and reflection, celebrating our shared journeys and calling for continued action and solidarity.
Únase a nosotres para una celebración histórica que honra a las personas inmigrantes y asiladas transgénero y de géneros diversos de todo California y del Sur Global, el 18 de noviembre.
El día comienza en el Ayuntamiento de San Francisco con la 4ª Proclamación Anual del Día de les Inmigrantes Transgénero, que reconoce la resiliencia y el liderazgo de las personas trans inmigrantes y asiladas del Sur Global.
Después de la proclamación y las palabras de líderes trans inmigrantes legendarios, nos reuniremos en el recién inaugurado Centro Cultural de Inmigrantes Parivar para disfrutar de un almuerzo comunitario, seguido del 3er Simposio Trimestral “Nuestro Refugio” de Inmigrantes Transgénero, donde compartiremos historias de valentía, recursos y servicios directos.
Juntes compartiremos comida, conexión y reflexión, celebrando nuestros caminos compartidos y haciendo un llamado a la acción y la solidaridad continua.
