About this Event
We continue our exploration of tracing the invisible threads that bonds us, the way our bodies support and respond to one another, and the balance we find between us and our surroundings. Through movement, we learn how connection is not something we build once, but something we continually sense, shape, and reimagine.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the physical and energetic bonds that form through shared e(motion) — how gravity, attention, and play can reveal new pathways of communication and care. Each moment is an invitation to feel what binds and frees us.
We’ll be using helium-filled, colorful balloons to help guide and inspire our explorations, focusing mainly on three themes: hang, squeeze, and float. Alongside this, a familiar form of communication will appear in a new, unexpected way — an invitation to connect beyond the usual boundaries of how we move and relate.
What We’ll Explore:
- Guided movement practices that invite connection through gravity and touch
- Time for solo discovery, partner exploration, and group improvisation
- A supportive space for curiosity, play, and embodied learning
- Open to all levels and movement backgrounds
