San Francisco Youth Chorus is now entering its 10th year as one of the leading children’s choruses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 2015 by Artistic Director Katherine Gerber, SFYC is comprised of singers ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, and believes in developing the human voice and fostering comprehensive music literacy while instilling a lifelong love of singing in every young singer. San Francisco Youth Chorus performs several times throughout August–May, and recent engagements have included a performance at Carnegie Hall as part of the National Choir Youth Festival in March, an appearance at the Presidio National Trust for Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi in October, and a performance of the national anthem at Chase Stadium for the Golden State Warriors game also in October. San Francisco Youth Chorus is also looking forward to their upcoming tour to New Orleans in March 2025 as part of The New Orleans Heritage Festival, as well as their Songs of Spring, Stage, and Screen Concert on May 3, 2025.
SFYC can be found on the web or on Instagram (@sfyouthchorus).
