FROM DEEP RIVER TO OPEN SKY: A MUSICAL JOURNEY
Join the San Francisco Pride Band on Sunday, March 22 at 3pm for “The Universal Language”, a winter community concert at the historic Herbst Theatre, located a short walk from the Civic Center BART/Muni station.
The Universal Language will be led by Matthew Fell, the newly appointed Artistic Director of the San Francisco Pride Band’s Concert Band program. Matthew Fell is an accomplished music educator and conductor with degrees in Music Education and Trombone Performance from Biola University and a Masters in Instrumental Conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University. Matthew is currently the Assistant Director of Bands at Amador Valley High School.
Doors open 2:30pm
Tickets: There is open seating - $23 general admission, $15 for students and seniors.
In Person: The box office at Herbst Theatre will be open 60 minutes prior to the performance for in-person sales! (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash only).
