About this Event
The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter invites you to a paint/sculpt-out at Walt Disney Family Museum on Saturday, February 7.
About Walt Disney Family Museum
Join the California Art Club for a special visit that includes a tour of The Walt Disney Family Museum on Saturday, February 7 at 10 am. During the tour we will explore the creative legacy of Walt Disney and see how traditional art, drawing, and storytelling shaped the language of animation. The museum galleries offer a rich look at early concept art, original sketches, and historic media that continue to influence artists today.
After the tour members are welcome to take part in an optional paint out on the Presidio Main Lawn and Tunnel Tops. These nearby outdoor spaces offer sweeping views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, along with open green lawns, mature trees, and landscaped gardens that create a beautiful and inspiring plein air setting. Participants may join us for the tour, the paint out, or enjoy both experiences.
