Mark your calendars for an unforgettable journey! The Storytellers of San Diego and the Coronado Public Library invite you to the 16th annual San Diego Storytelling Festival on Saturday, March 21, 2026, a free, all-day community celebration of the oral tradition. This year, as the world turns toward the theme "Light in the Dark," we gather at the Coronado Public Library to share tales of hope, resilience, and the spark of illumination found in challenging times. From timeless folktales to contemporary spoken word, you'll experience the joy and power of stories shared live.
The day is packed with captivating performances, open-mic sessions where new voices emerge, and a debut showcase from the Storytelling Institute. The adventure culminates with our annual story concert, celebrating our standing theme: Voices at the Water's Edge!
Whether you are young, old, or young at heart, come listen, laugh, and connect with a community that believes in the timeless magic of the spoken word. The stage is set, the lights are dimmed, and a thousand stories await—don't miss your chapter in the San Diego Storytelling Festival.
