• You have mutual respect and love, but your relationship intimacy is needing attention.
• Though you have good relational intimacy, your sexual relationship has been a source of frustration, disappointment, pain, and sadness.
• You may be experiencing challenges with sexuality including: orgasm, desire discrepancy, sexual pain, erectile functioning, premature ejaculation, past sexual trauma, chronic pain or illness effecting sexuality.
• You would like to improve intimacy in your marriage but are not sure where to start. You find this difficult to talk about with your spouse and need help where to begin.
• You have challenges in any of the following areas: chronic continuous or high conflict, chronic disconnection, experiences with infidelity/betrayals or addiction, or mental health challenges where healing is still difficult.

• For some couples, your relationship is steady, but is needing some attention and refreshment. For others, though you feel intimate and connected and your marriage is going well, your sexual relationship can sometimes have some difficulties and you want some help. And still others who take this intensive feel their marriage is experiencing trouble. All couples, regardless of where their marriage is at, are welcome. Though this intensive includes a focus on working through conflict and possible betrayals, it also includes rebuilding friendship, beginning steps on returning to relational intimacy, building blocks for returning to sexual intimacy, and steps to enhance the intimate marriage relationship at all stages.

Format: This is a professional intensive in the following format: Weekend long Retreat Style (Fri-Sun over 3 days; 8 hrs Friday and Saturday, 4 hrs Sunday) on intimacy and sexuality in marriage. The intensive is led by Dr. Jennifer Konzen, Marriage and Family Therapist and Sex Therapist. This is a smaller group format of 3-4 couples. Each couple will engage in an individual 1-hour assessment with Jennifer before the intensive, and a one 1-hr follow up session after the intensive.

Cost $2,800 per couple

The fee for this intensive may be a significant investment for some and should be considered in planning. All food and accomodations in San Diego are the responsibility of the participants. Snacks and drinks will be provided onsite during the scheduled time.
