About this Event
The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (SDRCC) is excited to announce the San Diego Energy & Climate Action Leadership Summit hosted in-person on Thursday, August 27th. The Summit will provide attendees an opportunity to dive deeper into critical issues impacting our ability to scale and implement climate action solutions. Key topics for this event will include innovative climate action funding and financing solutions, resources for scaling energy resilience, and best practices for enhancing public engagement and public trust. Together, we’re leveraging our collaborative capacity, networks, and partnerships to support knowledge building to move towards implementation and develop resilient, climate-ready equitable communities.
This full day summit will be hosted at the San Diego Made Factory from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The morning learning exchange will feature keynote presentations, flash talks, and interactive networking opportunities for attendees. The afternoon will provide an opportunity for attendees to choose and participate in various breakout workshop sessions that will dive deeper on key energy and climate resilience topics. Breakfast and lunch will be included with registration, and an optional networking happy hour on-site will follow.

Who Should Attend:
Individuals who will benefit from attending the Summit include: practitioners from public agencies, nonprofits, for profit entities, and local and state governments working to advance climate action across the San Diego and southern California region. While the program will feature an emphasis on solutions and programs available in the San Diego region, this event will benefit practitioners from across California with an interest in learning about energy resilience, scalability, and implementation and looking to connect with the regional San Diego climate action community.
