About this Event
Have you ever seen "food samples" in Japan that look real but aren't edible? Let's create a super cute summer mango parfait using traditional techniques born from the Japanese obsession with food! We'll also create mini dessert accessory that can be charms or earrings*. Don't understand why make something you can't eat? Forget finding meaning in everything, let's just make something adorable - your own parfait!
First, design and create mangoes or ice cream with wax, then assemble the parfait. For mini desserts, let's decide on the colors and designs, and then create them. Of course, we'll support you every step of the way.
Depending on the inventory status, the design of the glass may vary.
- Please bring an apron and a sturdy box to transport.

After worked as editor and catering chef in Tokyo, Yu traveled and "hunting" recipes from 100 grandmothers aged 80 and older, published a book in Japan and Korea, and gained popularity on YouTube with 250,000 followers and 9.1 million views. In 2017 she co-founded Sake import company “sake seeker” in Thailand. Since 2020 trained as food sample artist.
