Samora Pinderhughes (artist-in-residence ’24-25) is a composer, pianist, vocalist, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist known for examining sociopolitical issues and fighting for change through his art. His ongoing collaborative work with The Healing Project, the organization he founded in 2014, reckons with the daily realities of structural violence and incarceration for communities of color in the U.S. Samora Pinderhughes is a Harvard graduate student pursuing a PhD in Creative Practice and Critical Inquiry (CPCI) at the Harvard Department of Music.
