About this Event
Join award winning authors Heidi Chiavaroli, Amanda Dykes, and Melissa Tagg to celebrate their books that take place in Maine! Each will share what it is about Maine that captured their attention and inspired them to use it as the setting for their stories.
Maine has inspired novels for centuries, from childhood favorites such as Charlotte's Web, Blueberries for Sal, and Sarah Plain and Tall to literary classics authored by the likes of John Irving, Richard Russo, Stephen King and Henry David Thoreau. Heidi, Amanda, and Melissa will share how "Maine-stories" inspire them to share their stories of faith, resiliance and love of family and friends.
Come join us for an evening of festive fun as we gather with new and old friends over an abundance of Maine-inspired food and rousing conversation. Books will be available to purchase from Buster’s Bookhouse.
