Samhain marks the Celtic New Year. It is the end of summer, signaling the beginning of winter, the time when nature begins its cycle of death. It is the last harvest festival, known as the festival of the blood.It is at this time the veil between the living and dead is lifted, allowing spirits of the dead to visit the living.
And it's our time for communicating to our ancestors of blood, bone and earth.
We ask you come dressed in ritual garb, dark colors, preferably black. Cloaks and Capes encouraged.
If you are moved to do so, bring pictures of your loved ones who have crossed over.
