We invite you to celebrate the Celtic fire festival, Samhain, which translated means summer’s end. Join us for the last few days of the harvest, the end of the cycle of birth and growth, which from a nature perspective was the Celtic New Year. It was believed that the veil between the living and the otherworld, the seen and the unseen, was at its thinnest at this time, a time where spirits were able to visit the living making it the perfect opportunity to remember ancestors. Check-in to your accommodation in the afternoon. Our event program runs from the evening of Friday 28th till the morning of Sunday 30th April and includes traditional festival activities including taking a walk-in nature, gathering forest bounty, making seasonal decorations, honoring our ancestors, feasting from the harvest produce, fortune telling, making plans for the New Year and a few fun traditions for this time of the year.
Our all-inclusive retreat is limited to eight guests and is priced at $799 per person (based on private room with a shared bathroom) or $750 per person (based on two friends sharing a room with a shared else private bathroom) and includes:
