About this Event
Samhain marks the point in the Wheel of the Year that lies halfway between the Fall Equinox and the Winter Solstice. At this time, the veil between our realm and the spirit realm is very thin and those we love who have become ancestors emerge to break bread with us. It is a powerful time to connect with the lineages we carry and call on our ancestors to join us at this point in spacetime. Together with our community and collective ancestors, we can construct visions and plans for arcing towards paths of expansion for all. And most of all-- we get to party with our dearly departed in style!
Join the Wild Ride Collective and Moonrose Vintage & Goods this Samhain (Friday, November 1) for a night of ritual, dancing, and celebration of our ancestors! This event is open to all ages, as long as we can hold the sacred space together. Please bring a photo of an ancestor to place on the altar (or an object that represents an ancestor), and an ancestral dish to share. A magical elixir (both alcoholic and NA) will be provided, but you can BYOB as well.
THE FLOW FOR THE EVENING:
Doors Open at 6! Come shop around and find some power in the magic of vintage clothing and goods at Moonrose.
Ritual Starts at 7 (sharp!)! We will circle around the altar and go on a journey to invite our ancestors into the space with us.
Dance Party and Celebration until 10pm! Once we complete the ritual, we invite our ancestors to come celebrate and dance with us.
