The DFW Metroplex will take the global stage as a host city for the FIFA World Cup. Behind the scenes, transportation working groups are already coordinating across Federal, State, and local agencies to plan and deliver a seamless, safe, and reliable transportation system capable of supporting a world‑class tournament. From operational planning to resource coordination to reviewing and endorsing transport deliverables, this effort is massive — and it’s happening now.
This luncheon brings you two leaders at the center of that work:
- Natalie Bettger, Senior Program Manager, North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)
- Tom Grant, PE, Consultant Project Manager for the development of the FIFA World Cup 26 Dallas Mobility Plan, Kimley‑Horn
Together, they will share how the region is preparing for unprecedented visitor volumes, multimodal demands, and the operational challenges of hosting one of the largest sporting events on the planet. You’ll hear what’s underway, what’s next, and where industry partners may play a role.
