+++ ENGLISH BELOW +++1994 wurde Banda Didá als eines der ersten Perkussionsprojekte gegründet, das sich zum Ziel setzte, Frauen und Mädchen über die Musik einen Zugang zur Gleichberechtigung zu geben. Neben dem Sozial- und Bildungsprojekt ist die Banda Didá vor allem für ihre mitreißende Kombination aus Samba Reggae und choreographischer Performance bekannt. Beeinflusst vom Samba Reggae wie ihn Olodum spielt, entwickelte die Banda Didá unter der Leitung von Maestra Adriana Portela auch ein eigenes musikalisches Repertoire, das verschiedene rhythmische Einflüsse mit einbringt.

Banda Didá was founded in 1994 as one of the first percussion projects with the goal of giving women and girls access to equal rights through music. In addition to the social and educational project, Banda Didá is best known for its rousing combination of samba reggae and choreographic performance. Influenced by samba reggae as played by Olodum, the Banda Didá, under the direction of Maestra Adriana Portela, has also developed its own musical repertoire, which incorporates various rhythmic influences.
