Seattle's favorite after-hours museum event is back. Taking notes from Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei, SAM Remix will showcase the power of art to make change through genre-smashing musicians, works by provocateur artist Ai Weiwei, and DIY art workshops. These are difficult times, people, so we need art to bring us out of the darkness in true Seattle grunge fashion!Join us for gallery explorations, a fashion show, stand-up comedy, and more during this evening exploring all forms of artistic rebellion.
The place: Seattle Art Museum from 7–11 pm on Friday, March 28. The attitude: ornery but creative. The dress code: punk chic. The first 100 attendees to arrive dressed on theme will receive one free drink ticket.
Galleries and South Hall will be accessible from 7–10:30 pm. Programming and activities will continue in the Brotman Forum until 11 pm.
