NHS is "Calling All Military Veterans!" The NHS Student Council would like to invite any military service veteran to be their guest at a dinner in their honor. The "Salute to Service" dinner will take place on February 20, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the high school cafeteria. The dinner event is scheduled just before our boys' basketball games versus Wyoming Park High School. Our veterans will also be recognized in a brief pregame ceremony before tip-off. Our students and staff are very appreciative of the sacrifices put forth by our military personnel, and this is one small way for us to show our gratitude.
We ask that any veterans or their family members please RSVP their attendance by February 6, 2026, for planning purposes. Responses can be emailed to [email protected] or call 616-363-4857 ext. 28305 and leave a message.
We are excited about the opportunity and hope to have veterans join us for a meal and recognition for their service to our country!
