About this Event
About the Event
What would you cure, heal or treat about the culture, if you could? That is what the Spanish title, "Qué Quieres Curar?" (What do you want to cure?) means to us. As a Latine family founded nonprofit organization, Salud will be hosting a mental health community talk centering the culture, community, about the realities we're facing today across topics. That includes the cultura and mental health, the first generation experience, education, men's mental health, love, family, relationships and much, much more.
Attendees will have a moment to meet and greet BIPOC leaders & mental health professionals, be present in honoring Latina grad school students, chance to win White Sox Hispanic Heritage Night tickets for our Salud families, light comida, sips & a cash bar (coffee & N/A options available). Entrance to this event is free and open to the public due to our incredible partners, sponsors and hosts. Cheers, Salud to healing the culture together.

About Salud
Salud is a Latine family founded nonprofit created by and for the community. We are an organization led by psychologists, social workers, case managers, and health care providers that have similar backgrounds to the communities we serve. Salud was started to help normalize mental health conversations. We believe that If we want to discuss topics like mental health, there should be spaces that offer a safe, trusted, appropriate & professionally led approach to help do so in our communities. Salud applies research & evidence-based approaches to create a safe space to intentionally facilitate these conversations and create space for the communities we serve. Salud acknowledges that these formally led conversations can happen in different settings from large universities to intimate spaces within our communities. Cheers, ’Salud’ to normalizing our mental health and healing the culture together.
